Featured on our DVD/Video as the perfect tool for chopping kitchen waste into a pulp which makes the waste into instant worm food, speeding up the digestive rate of the worm colony.
The chopping tool we sell has a shorter handle—eliminating the problem of lifting the full chopping box from floor level. The shorter handle means the chopping can be done at table level.

6” deep treated timber box with a heavy duty recycled plastic base—almost indestructable. Overall size is 10” x 10” and is featured on our DVD.

As shown on “Anyone Can Be a Worm Compostor”, this product has been produced for over fifty years and we find it excellent for re-establishing microbial and bacterial activity in an established heap that seems to be lacking any microbial life.
The very small quantities of herbal powder used is first mixed into 2 pints of rainwater then poured into 2 or 3 holes made in the heap by walking stick or crow bar. Of course, full instructions are included.
A heap treated this way can become an excellent food source for a wormery bin or 1 or 2 inoculation packs can be added directly to the heap. Sold in packs with sufficient herbal powder to activate a 2m3 heap (about 2 tons)—just £2.50 per pack.

Comfrey plans can be cut 5—6 times each year for up to 20 years. Comfrey Leaves make an excellent worm food, stimulating breeding and at the same time increasing the nutrient value of the worm castings because of the high level of Nitrogen and Potash in the Comfrey leaves. We only supply Comfrey as rooted plantlets ready to be planted directly into your garden. Space them at 40cm/16” between each plant and 40cm/16” between each row.
Note that comfrey plants will be despatched between 3 and 4 weeks from placing an order. Plants are available only between May and October.

This product contains an organic blend of of proteins and minerals that stimulate the bacterial and microbial activity in the bin when added as a small handful of powder sprinkled on to each 6” layer of waste as the bin is filled.
The increased bacterial activity raises the temperature in the bin which can dramatically reduce the time it takes to produce good compost to feed a wormery.
Sold in large tubs of 10 litres—enough to stimulate 10 bins of compost.
Price per tub £16.50 including Postage and Packing.
